Diaspora als muziek en pianist. Corona heeft voor fysieke afstand gezorgd tussen velen van ons. Tussen jou en je familie, vrienden en zelfs je woonplaats. Er zijn veel mensen die in het buitenland wonen en hun thuisland missen. Veel componisten uit de 19e eeuw waren Boheems. Ze verlieten hun eigen land en keerden nooit meer terug. Kaoru: ‘Zelf ben Ik ben ook een diasporapianist die ver van mijn thuisland woont. Ik wil graag van deze gelegenheid gebruik maken om wat prachtige muziek van deze diaspora componisten te delen. Misschien raken hun nostalgie en eenzaamheid jou ook.’ Facebook livestream vanuit het prachtige Kasteel Loenersloot in Nederland.

Fortepianist Kaoru Iwamura speelt op de Lyrapiano tijdens het restauratieproces. De piano maakt deel uit van de Sweelinck Collectie, een unieke collectie fortepiano’s in Amsterdam. De restauratie was een initiatief van het Geelvinck Hinloopen Museum (nu: Geelvinck Museum).

– Diaspora as music and pianist –
Corona has caused physical distance between many of us. Between you and your family, friends and even your hometown. There are many people living abroad who miss their home country. Many composers from the 19th centuries were Bohemian. They left their own country and never returned.
I am also a diaspora pianist who lives far from my home country. I would like to take this opportunity to share some beautiful music of these diaspora composers.
This is a film of 5 minutes livestreamed concerts via Facebook from the beautiful Castle Loenersloot in the Netherlands. Maybe their nostalgia and lonesomeness will touch you as well.

作曲家のインスピレーションとなったのは、日本語でいう「シーシュポスの岩」の神話です。何度も上に登り、また落ちる、また繰り返す。

Duo La Corde Vibrante bestaat uit Kaoru Iwamura (fortepiano) en Dario Macaluso (gitaar). Dario speelt op de Panormo gitaar (19e eeuw) en Kaoru speelt op twee soorten fortepiano: een Weis (Praag, 1805) en een Böhm (Wenen, 1820). Beluister deze cd op Spotify!

「ルーナースロート城のブロードウッドピアノ」では岩村が約２００年前のイギリス製ブロードウッド　スクエアピアノについて解説します。第２回香港古楽器祭の映画「人生は夢」で弾かれたピアノです。英語版動画もあり。

The Sweelinck Collection of historical keyboard instruments (including over 40 table pianos) was established in the second half of the 20th century by Rien Hasselaar. At the time, interest in the authentic performance of 18th and 19th century music was on the rise, partly as a result of the desire for greater authenticity and a return to origins that had been stirring society since the 1960s.

Beethoven – Zes variaties op in D groot, Op.76 (“Turkisch Marsch”). Fortepiano Böhm (Wenen, ca. 1820) met Janissary-pedalen.

De Sweelinck Collectie historische toetsinstrumenten (o.a. ruim 40 tafelpiano’s) is in de tweede helft van de 20e eeuw opgezet door Rien Hasselaar. Destijds nam de belangstelling voor de authentieke muziekuitvoering van de 18e en 19e eeuw toe. Mede als gevolg van de hang naar grotere authenticiteit en terugkeer naar de oorsprong, die sedert de jaren ’60 de maatschappij in beweging bracht. Regie: Deen van der Zaken.

Uitgevoerd door Dario Macaluso (gitaar) en Kaoru Iwamura (fortepiano).
Van de cd ‘La Corde Vibrante’ (2013). De historische gitaar is van George Lewis Panormo (Londen, 1859) en de fortepiano is van Joseph Böhm (Wenen, ca. 1820).

ディアスポラのピアニストとその音楽。コロナ禍は人との距離を余儀なくしました。外国に住む家族や友達と離れて暮らしているたくさんの人が、会いたい人に会えず、祖国に戻ることが難しい時を経験しました。１９世紀の作曲家の多くも、放浪的な人生を送りました。祖国を離れ、違う国へと移住しそこで生涯を終えることもあります。自分も日本を離れているピアニストとして、このシリーズで祖国を離れた作曲家の音楽をお届けしました。彼らのノスタルジー、どことない寂しさは、きっと心に触れるものを届けてくれるでしょう。ルーナースロート城の美しい部屋より、コロナ禍中に５分のライブコンサートとして配信された動画です。

“The Broadwood Piano at the Loenersloot Castle”. Kaoru Iwamura vertelt over de circa 200 jaar oude Engelse Broadwood Square Piano die ze bespeelde in de muziekvideo “Life is a Dream”, onderdeel van het 2nd Hong Kong Early Music Festival 2021.

１７６７年に作曲されたといわれる８７小節の小品が近年発見されました。２０１２年に１８世紀のスクエアピアノでオランダ初演し、後日撮影。 ピアノ（Buntebart & Sievers ロンドン製１７８７年）ヘールフィンク・ヒンローペン博物館　青の間にて撮影）

『人生は夢の如き』ハイドンやメンデルスゾーンのソロやデュエット歌曲、スクエアピアノでの音楽が満載。コロナ禍中に香港古楽祭の委託により作成した音楽映画。（２０２１年）監督とシナリオ：ダーン・フレー（約２６分）英語または広東語字幕が選べます。

ベートーヴェンの６つの変奏曲　作品７６　ウィーン式のフォルテピアノ（Böhm ca. 1820）打楽器ペダルを使用している。

琴とフォルテピアノのためのデュオ　後藤真起子（琴）と岩村かおる（スクエアピアノ）のためにヘールフィンク・フォルテピアノ音楽祭（２０１３年）の折、書き下ろされました。日本の俳句をヒントにした三部構成の作品です。特殊な音律がピアノにも使われており、指定のように調律してもらうのに苦労しました。琴とフォルテピアノが相性よく響く作品です。
